Hello,

I have changed my e-mail address for the sibrob but I can still be reached at
irisgardens@hotmail.com for personal mail and such. Hotmail had a tantrum and
went on the blink and ate or lost my total address book, bounced 4 messages I
had sent to the sibrob in August (hard bounces) and was being a general pain
in the neck. So I decided to flee to Oslo, Norway and try this congenial web
server, operamail.com, and see what happens. So far so good..I have had
another account there for experimentation. Enough of that.

We now have 150 members. Wow...a long way from the 6 we started with in March
1998.

Re VICKI ANN, I grew it in my previous garden and it was slow to get
established but it bloomed well but a little short. I only had it 3 years
before we moved and the third year it performed well. It did well last year
when I drove by the property (very slowly) and looked to see what was in bloom
in the front garden. VICKI ANN was in the front of a bed and blooming well.
But she is no more this year..the whole bed was plowed under as well as
another mixed border. :(

As far as I can recall, that bed was pretty much neglected and all the
Siberians did ok...great ones there that the bulldozer put the cabash on:
MESA PEARL, VICKI ANN, BRIDAL JIG, PERCHERON, TEMPER TANTRUM, PEG EDWARDS,
PINK HAZE, LILTING LAURA, LAVENDER BOUNTY and RUFFLED VELVET. That is all
I can recall and it was siberian-heavy along with daffs, tulips and late
bloomers like phlox and rudibeckia (sp?), etc.

Cheers,

Ellen Gallagher / Northern New Hampshire / US /
