Hello,
most of messages sent on "shade tolerant iris" subject show, that
tetraploids require more sun and diploids can grow in partial shade.Of
cours, variation is observed like in Ken's case. In my location tet's
dont flower beeing planted in semi shade. For that reason I think when
irisarians from hot areas do like to choose siberians, they must take
tetraploids.
