{Disarmed} Mini Siberian hybrid

Hello everyone;

Earlier this Spring I send an e-mail regarding my small Siberian seedlings.
Thought I would share this picture of a two year old mini-siberian.

I have about a dozen hybrids this size, this is the most unique. The plant starts in the Spring coming from the ground without chlorophyl. The leaves are a pale yellow. Now I have had others in my "small" breeding program like this, the others never "greened" up and usually burn up in their second year.  I am normally ruthless in culling weak seedlings. This plant I have given some TLC because in late June it began to turn green. New leaf growth begins lime green and turns darker as it matures. As you see the plant is 5 inches tall!  Seems to do well in some shade. Its sisters are better growers, I hope some may flower in their third year????
This plant will remain potted for now. It will winter Dec. and Jan. protected in my garage for a couple months and ten I'll bring it in and treat it like a houseplant for the remainder of winter.

I do not know the value of these truly mini-siberians, but I am going to play God with them for a while and see if people like them.
