That would be the optimum but maybe one to start with and we
haven't heard from the powers that be in SSI whether or not
they even want to take a role in test garden(s). As Clarence
and Bill D. have said a local club, granted a very active
one in CO, oversees the Loomis test gardens and grants awards
after 2 or 3 years of observation. If I am mistaken, please correct
my faulty memory. Those of us who attended the '98 AIS convention
in CO visited the Loomis test garden. That was the snowy June
convention in case you have repressed the wet and cold memory.
