The talk about this iris has been interesting. I was keeping an eyeout for
pods on it but none to report.
I just sent out a shipment of 50 nice divisions to a retailer, it was a hard
sell at first, but I had a good slide to provide with it. Once they had
viewed the excellent slide that John Montgomery took for me they ordered
another 50. There is a still a lot of people out there that just simply do
not know how advanced Siberians have become.
The rebloom at the nursery went absolutely ballistic. One of the very best,
a vintage year! Unfortunately no visitors to take it in :(. Jewelled Crown
had a few sparse scattered re-blooms. Its relative Coronation Anthem had the
best rebloom of any iris I have ever seen, bearded or beardless. The second
bloom was better then the first and the clump was just covered. This sort of
thing does not happen every year - otherwise I would not get any work done,
I'd be admiring the flowers too much.
That's what's so nice bout plants they always suprise you! Every years
different.
