Thanks for the input to the discussion. Security is a very important issue.
I talked to Mike Moller and security was an issue at the Dr. Loomis Test
Garden. For the first two years plants were stolen. Now it is an
established part of the community and the local neighborhood plays a strong
part in watching the garden.
The Iris Society of Minnesota has a couple of garden contracts. One with
the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and another with Anoka County Parks. If
ISM did forward a test garden proposal it might be with the new Roseville
Arboretum.
