Whats blooming

In Northern California, a tiny bit south of where Kitty lives,
this is what is blooming in my garden.  Wings of Peace,
Valentines Day, Gift of Dreams opened today with a beautiful flounce that starts out as a smooth appendage then has a smooth "horn" on each side with the flounce coming on through the middle--will try to post a picture as soon as my daughter photogapher gets one.  Monty's Sweet Blue and Set Sail have been gone for two weeks now.  It looks like all bloom here is going to be very early--on everything not just Iris. Too little late rain and too much warmth--even wild flowers are very early with the early spring blooming with the midseason--but the wild iris are spectacular this year with more than I have seen in years
