Re: MOONRAKER X DESERT MOONLIGHT sdlg
Chris,

Not on this one. There is a half sibling via ROYAL TARA that had fine dark
lines in the signal area when it was newly open. They have faded to near
obscurity as the bloom aged so you'd never notice them.
>This is quite a clean flower,
It is. Hardly any haft marks at all. That surprised me. The faint marks
are under the standards which are wide and sit on the shoulders of the falls
so wouldn't be very visible in any case.

Super substance. I'd give all the credit to MOONRAKER except the half
sibling also has very good substance. A trait that one surely got from
DESERT MOONLIGHT, not its TB parent.

That's the question. Fertility isn't good on this type. I try though.
That's the plan and hope. Here I used DESERT MOONLIGHT again. Don't really
know what would come of it if it does set seeds, but the seedling has strong
plant growth tending toward a TB type plant. At least so far. It would be
nice to get a balanced amphidiploid with the plant growth and substance. It
would be something to work with. That result would probably be a good
candidate for a horned AB. Waaaaay down the line. It has to establish a
degree of fertility first. That takes a lot of patience with this type.
