Re: CAT: Sutton's On-line

What is shelved and non-shelved blooms?

I do not know what the variable is for appendage forms, but warm climate would be my guess.  Up north, people have written they only get horns.  On other space age flowers I get variables too, and Doctor No has produced some flowers on the same stalk that only had horns.

Subject: [SpaceAgeRobin] CAT: Sutton's On-line

Browsing around last night I discovered the Sutton's On-line Store is now open.  I haven't explored it very deeply yet, but did note there are some very attractive introductions included.

I've been reading the posts a few at a time, but I'm getting behind.  In a couple weeks I can catch up--but as you southern garden folks (or northern, in Oz)  have TB's bloom, please watch for conspicuously "shelved" and "non-shelved" blooms and note them to this list.

Patrick--your experience with flounces showing up on DOCTOR NO gives me pause--another variable for SAGE to note?  Afraid so.  Is it heat?  Climate?  Latitude?  Or a combination of the above?
