Hi Chris, How did you handle that Cuban heat? :) Glad to see your
getting an early start this year. My seedling beds like looked like your a
while back, now they are covered in weeds, I spent the last two days
weeding, now I'm sunburnt and sore. Glad I got it done, I also got to
inspect everybody to see who looks like they are going to send up
stalks.
The SDB's started blooming yesterday. My seeds from last year have
finally started sprouting, I was getting really nervous. They'd had some
mold, and I had nearly convinced myself that they were all runed. And
then, like overnite, they started popping up, seeing more everyday.
Here's some pics. You can probably make out some names. I'm
especially curious how the Thornbird X 6th SA will turn out, 6th SA was
the little blue one with the big flounces.
I got a call from a friend of mine, that our Blyth order that we went in
together, has came in. I'll be picking them up and planting them
tomorrow after work. I'm very excited about that, neat stuff to make SA
crosses on. Everything is going good down this way.

chance at blooming many of my seedlings. The snow in recent years has
hung around much longer so I was pleased to get out there with a rake
and remove the dead leaves and do damage control. What amazes me is
that all of my tiny, late planted seedlings and new acquisition Arilbreds
have made it through with flying colors.
