RE: [SpaceAgeRobin] T'bird sdlg

My season was early this year, starting in February, but now it’s nearly over with the week of over 90 degree temperatures we’ve had.  About a third of my regular irises and over half of my seedlings  haven’t bloomed and probably won’t.  It’s been a strange year here too.  Our mild, wet winter didn’t produce the bumper crop I was hoping for.

Chris,

Anyone is out of their mind to make ANY iris crosses :).

No.  Don't think it's going to try this year.  Same with a lot of TBs here.
Don't know why.  They've waited too late now.  If they do try, they'll get
cooked.  Been a weird year for the timing of bloom.  Out of sequence.  Some
late ones are blooming at the same time as some of the early ones and the
mid-season bunch just beginning to show color.  Everything has been late.
If I get lucky, the weather will have a late, damp cool spell.  If I'm not
lucky, two weeks from now the buds are going to look like beef jerky.
