There was an european version of "pheasant feathers" a couple of years 
back. I don't know what its AIS registeration became. (Like Bajazzo 
became Flounced Bajazzo). Maybe Juri or Mike Sutton can add some info .

I have seen some feathering on very lacy blooms. Will go looking in the 
field  and look for some photos later.

P.S. for reference it blooms about 2 weeks earlier tha ARTIST PALETTE.
