Ok, here's a couple of pages i posted from one of my old Austin's catalogs on the Clematis.

   Enjoy..........Just returned from Bkuebird Gardens, been comparing notes on Historics. I learned a few things while inspecting some of the oldest ones there.   I have several more SA's opening now, but hope the Thundershowers hold off and don't flatten the new buds ike they did the other day.......
