I think pre-soaking isn't always needed based on my experiments. Enjoy the
hockey! I was gifted with a free pass once to the Dallas Stars. Not a
sports fanatic, but that's one that could hook me if I was able to watch it
live. I expected a brawl, but there were only three short fights. The rest
was an incredible display of speed, skill in a game I managed to follow as a
novice. I really enjoyed it.

I think that's true everywhere. It's also my biggest complaint about them
and why I like my own seedling. It's reliable, the appendages are all
similar and they are there to almost the last blooms in the stalk. It
aggravates me the very last ones will drop them. Does it have appendages
for you?

Sorry about the borers. I guess we all have something waiting to get us. I
had a single plant with scorch this spring and I haven't seen scorch for 4-5
years now. Unfortunately it's a seedling I rather have kept.

I'll post the seedling photos I have. I'm getting home too late to have
light for photos and leaving too early to have enough for a good photo. The
hail didn't do nearly as much damage as it might have, so I may be able to
improve on one or two, but maybe not either.
