Neil ,, I don't know to much about modifier gene's  but I sure would like to use them on the voil that made my Devonshire Cream disappear  between yesterday and today ,, all that was left was a hole in the ground, not even a leaf remained. How about any of the following replacements  for this years crosses;;Blendine  Royal;;Blue Aristocrat;;Davy Jones;;Dusky Challenger;;Titan's Glory or Victoria Falls..   I don't recall if any of these have the  raised ridge  you mentioned.. If this color is even close, this is about as brilliant a red as I could imagine an iris to be.  Furthermore, it's an SA!
