This has appeal but apparently its vigor is worse than poor. I do not think it wise to consciously engender such a trait into a line of irises that may well plague the progeny longer than years I will live. Course a lot of the pollination I already do is based on a hope for divine intervention.

Being by nature given to excesses, I could see myself buyin' it for either snob appeal or the dreams it causes. But my pocket book will speak before I act and tell me pretty quick I should find other irises or buy just that one.

Perhaps I will go back to it's parents and make the same cross looking for a similar more vigorous seedling. As many as we have playing in SAGE this approach could really have some merit.

Reality is a crass taskmaster.
