Re: [SpaceAgeRobin] BIO: Something about me
Hey Randy !
Good to hear from you ! It's always interesting to know what Iris people
like to do besides growing Irises. Does Ted have a web site ? I did a fair
amount of wood carving n the past but it was mostly just totem pole/Easter
Island type stuff, no flowers. I took up stained glass a few years ago and
have made some nice Daylilly windows but no Irises, I just don't have time
but I have promised myself to come up with an SA design one day. I just
don't have time to do everything I want and won't for the next ten years
until my children grow up and are less demanding of my time.
I planned to have a relaxing Friday evening tonight in front of the fire,
but my cat Gray Wolf went out to sniff the new powdery snow and was promptly
chased up a tree by a dog what came out of no where. I had to drive an hour
to borrow a ladder that I wasn't sure was tall enough and bring it back
praying for a miracle. He ended up being about 40 feet up and I was JUST
able to pull him off the branch by the scruff of his neck and carry him
down. Poor things feet were bleeding from the cold and the 5 hour balancing
act. The good news is, I can now, 5 hours later than planned, sit down and
relax ;-) My scratched face is just a tiny price to pay for getting him
down.
What does this have to do with SA Irises ? "Nuthin" as Bill would say ;-)
Life is good, but it would be better if these Arctic like temps would go
away.
Chris
