The other thing to consider is the possibility of the growers in the warmer climates saving and sending pollen to the more northerly growers. Thus even if you don't grow some of the SAs you can make crosses. I have peak TB bloom about June 8th , usually. The bloom season for some growers can be as early as April, I beleive. Zone 8/9 could send to zone 6/7, 6/7 could send to 5/6, 5/6 could send to 3/4, eg myself and Chris. Of course any lower zone can send to anyone cooler, but the fresher the pollen the better the vuability.
