Here is a picture of Bottom's Up.  decided to use the two parents of BU because of the strong SA stability of both Bye Bye Blues and Bugleboy Blues offspring.  we normally don't like to cross SA to SA but in recent years the tweakiness has been less and less in the SAs.  Don't know if this is due to the selection process or the breeding but things are stabilizing.  Momentous Occasion can be crossed with just about any other iris, including SAs and the appendages will be pretty consistent and deformations are next to non-existent.

Hello Neil,

I'm interested and would like to acquire it but it will depend
heavily on the price.  I assume it's not going to be cheap since it
was a 2003 introduction.  I haven't seen a photo of it yet cuz the
Sutton site is down and out but it's good to know that DAUBER'S
DELIGHT is behind such great appendage performance.  Is DD on the
SAGE list ? I don't recall seeing it there, maybe it should be if we
can't get our hands on BOTTOMS UP.
