Hi Neil and everybody,
You mentioned Black Out as a possible cultivar we could use that
doesn't pass on appendages to its offspring in a previous post. I
grew this plant when I lived in Blainville and it's a great growing
dark Iris, better than any black I have here right now. It's a bit
short on branching but I'd be pleased to order a bunch of rhizomes of
it and use it for SAGE it you're looking for nominations.
I have 4 Honky Tonk Blues x Black Out seedlings that will bloom this
Spring, some of them have intense dark purple based foliage. I'm
anxious to see the results.
Any other suggestions out there for non SA cultivars to make this
experiment/effort as interesting a possible ?
