Re: [SpaceAgeRobin] Request for bloom reports Zones 4-6

Hi Randall,

Good to hear from you !  How are your AB's holding up after more than a year of acquiring so many  ?  Did you plant your SA seeds yet ?

Yes, I'll send you all seedlings that don't bloom for me this year.  Maybe they'll have a fighting chance to bloom in the South.

As for my LENT A WILLIAMSON, I'd like to acquire another rhizome from another source and grow them side by side.  Despite it's age, it's a real quality plant.

They'll get bounced for sure this
year if they don't send up stalks.
Hate to see that. You should send them south. I for one would grant them bed space till they did if no one else would. By the way if you need to guest anything this far south I am open to such.

P.S.
The Lent A. Williamson is a 50 chromosone variety and could harbor traits not found in the 48 chromosone Tb's

Kelly,

This is good news for SOLAR FIRE.  I'll have to try it here.  My only fear
is that it won't be vigorous enough to do well here.  It's amazing how
poorly some of my THORNBIRD seedlings grow, some of them have been with me
since 2001 and still haven't bloomed.  They'll get bounced for sure this
year if they don't send up stalks.
