Re: CANAVERAL and common use nominations

Thanks Chris. Sounds like an excellent candidate for us to use as a common factor in our SAGE work. AN iris consistant across mutiple zones would help validate our results. Do you know who sells it and if they have any left?

Sad news. George Sutton said BARBARAS LACE sold out and he is going to hold it in production for two years to build up stock again. :'(

Good news. Because of the popularity of SOLAR FIRE the fellows at Superstition planned for a lot of stock and they still have  good stock at the moment. I would recommned anyone still planning to order it do so soonest.

Now that most of us have been through bloom season any recommendations for common use varieties. Space Agers consistent with horns or flounces but not variable by Zone or weather? Any more obvious carriers like APRIL JEWEL and HEARTSTRING STRUMMER?

Hey everybody,

This shows me that CANAVERAL is probably the most consistant SA in the
garden here in zone 4b.  It has never failed to bloom without horns, it
also blooms faithfully every year.  As a matter of fact, it's got a huge
pod in it from DOCTOR NO pollen.
