I have a large clump on an unknown white SA that is very likely an Austin, and some said it's likely lemon spoon, looks white from a distance, but light yellow up close with prominant yellow hafts and beard. It is quite the grower, but I haven't been able to get it to set pods for 3 yrs now. No takes on pollen either, even though it looks viable, all crosses were made on modern TB's. It is close to 4' and has the best branching of any iris I've grown. The branching and the tall stalks that don't fall over are why I've been trying to use it, and it always has spoons or very long horns. Next year I'll try it on some diploid medians to see if it'll take that way. How's the branching on snow spoon? Also, I should note that I have a much lower percentage of takes than what most people were posting, I think it's due to our weather here in SW MO. It storms alot when the iris are blooming in the spring. thanks Will Warner
