Good afternoon,
Next year will be my first attempt to cross for SA Iris. Having
hybridizing daylilies for so many years it is hard for me to understand
Iris inheritance is unlike lilies. After reading The World of Iris and
reading posts I have come to the conclusion that crossing Iris is as
much a genetic crap shoot as much as knowledge. Other then crossing
GOOD TO GOOD can you make some suggestions?
If you cross say a SA to a TB do you have a better chance to getting SA
then if you cross TB to a SA? Has any one had better odds with one over
the other? or should I just stick with SA x SA ?
