Hi Jean,

My non wacky crosses didn't take either but some of the weird crosses  
like French Horn x Tropical Butterfly did. I stayed home one day two 
weeks ago and made about 20 crosses, none of them took !!!  I managed 
to make about 10 more but didn't have time to label them so if they 
take, I'll have another mixed bag of seeds again but I'm not 
optimistic.   Working full time and having two children in soccer and 
baseball consumes most of my time.

BTW, your Argus Pheasant x Red Canyon Glow sounds very interesting.  
What are your impressions of Red Canyon Glow as a grower and performer ?

All in all, I was quite pleased with my seedlings this year, I plan to 
line out about 10 of them for furthur evaluation.
