I received two of the emails a few days ago and just trashed them.

It is some kind of virus or worm or ? which gets into their computer and sends out this junk to everyone in their address book. A couple of people in my quilt guild had it happen to them too. They are all variations on the HELP - we're stuck somewhere with no money - please send. Just dump them into your trash. Once they are gone I have not had them reappear.

Yes, Rita is one of our iris people.

I've been recieving spam and money requests at my personal email address from Rita Gormley address as well.

I thought she was a member of the Iris Society but it appears as if somebody has taken control of her account. Anybody know?
