Merlot (Schreiners 99), I have not seen it bloom here. But, it was planted here again last year...... for a second try. The first time the dog stole it and I've not yet found that rhizome nor the dog.
This iris is reported by a knowledgeable irisarian to grow and increase well in the high, dry, cold, desert county of the Northwest.
It is growing and increasing well here in the soggy South. Button's photo is from the Northeast.
