Hi Colleen,
12 buds are remarkable, BSE or no BSE. When crossed with S/A, you
must surely get S/A children now, and hopefully a lot of buds. Since your
seedling is half plicata, you can cross it with plicatas, luminatas, and broken
colored irises to get some S/A B/C, S/A plics, or S/A luminatas. If you
cross it with one that reblooms, then you could possibly get a RE S/A B/C.
There are NOT many of those out there.
I just got done planting my MOMENTOUS OCCASION X DAUGHTER OF STARS
seedlings that germinated this spring. I am hoping (since DOS DOES rebloom
for me) to get some RE S/A luminatas with luminata markings on the flounces.
