Mike, I certainly do not think it was the flower. This bloom is grand. Likely others are like me with iris-photos right now. So many pics are being posted one has to pick and choose between what we actually download. I'm on 28k modem.
I ultimately download every picture posted. Some in mass that I do not see until things slow down. Some others I view immediatly. Often seedling pictures are the last to be downloaded here because they start me wishing for things I may never have a chance to acquire.
Your [(Blow Torch X Awakening) X Bride's Blush] has done that. Now I feel remiss in not havin' downloaded it sooner!
As a point in passin' : I (and I expect others too) become more likely to view seedlings immediately even when we are under iris bloom stress in our own yards if the parents are listed in the subject line and if I have any of the parents growin' here.
A very impressive bloom!
