SAGE CROSSES

I checked through my stud book to find how many crosses I made involving irises listed for the SAGE project.  I discovered I made 30 that have formed pods. 

 

I am considering the variety called WHEN YOU WISH as the same as MESMERIZER.  It is a child of MESMERIZER, and looks exactly like it when it is well established. Other times, however, the appendages vary.  See photo attached of the stalk that bloomed this spring for me.  It is from a one year clump.  Incidentally, I had a one year stalk of Mesmerizer that produced the same appendages as in the picture.  I took it to the show and it drove the judges nuts!!!  <eg>
