The scar is similar looking to the depression left when the tip of the 
flounce seperates from the fall in the early stages of developement. If 
the scar is concave then a flounce did at lease begin . If it is convex 
or appears as a small seed then it never developed. In Zone 7b you are 
almost identical to Superstition. They are at about 22-25" inches of 
rain since July 1st,2004

Just remember to tell the teacher "a bird ate my flounce."
