I haven't heard this one mentioned much. Red Canyon Glow (Meininger
2000). New here this year. I'm very
impressed with it so far, and have to recommend it. Regular horns on
all flowers, also triple socket
on the terminal bud, doubles below. This one came from Riverview.
Several people wanted me to report how my order turned out, well
everything from Riverview that bloomed is of the correct ID,
and 90% of what I ordered bloomed first year. Those were two problems
with them people had warned me about, but weren't true on my order.
Rhizomes seemed smaller than most places, but took off and performed
better than others that sent potatoes. About half of the huge rhizomes
other companys sent bloomed on short stunted stalks or didn't bloom at
all, just increased.
