Michael,Chris, Form is much better than as pictured. Like most people we have had our iris suffer from WWE. The Wacky Weather Effect for us was the last day of frost being mid-January followed by 85+ days in March. Then the weather went below normal temps with 200% more rain than usual and extending 4 weeks longer than normal. This delayed some late bloomers and caused a second season of blooms in others. The open standards on TLB,which was a second bloom season, and PPE are on older blooms which have been through a week of 15-20 MPH winds and 90+ days. By way of comparison rebloomers such as AB, RETURN TO AGA , MTB, SMASH and TB, FIREBEARD have already finished their second bloom. Others, not normally considered rebloomers such as SDB, PUDDY TAT, TBs, WEARING RUBIES and DRINKS AT SUNSET ,both in the same row as PPE and TLB, also had finished their second round of blooming. SOLAR FIRE is next to PPE and the fotos I just posted were taken a couple of days earlier. To further define the timeline I should add that our first seed pod is beginning to split at the same time the fotos were taken. I like the rosy red cheeks of PPE but it blooms far too late for us to do any crosses with it. Michael M. Yahoo! Groups Links
