Depends on how you define "out there".  I've consigned a lot to the arroyo because they didn't meet my criteria for aril traits.  But one of my main goals has been to recover the wide, onco-like beards and the SA types tend to have narrow beards.  

It sounds like you have different goals and could well attain them.
