Re: RE:INFO: archival material

Hi Neil,

What a huge task you've put in front of you. About a year ago, I cut
and pasted about the first 300 messages into a Works file and send it
off to Chris Linsey to add to the Mallorn archives but Chris was
having problems at the time and I didn't have time to do a follow up.
Chris did say however that I could send him all the missing messages
in a ZIP file or on a CD and he would add them to the archives.

I as well, did a bit of editing but not to the extent you are doing
right now. I abandoned my efforts shortly after because my computer
kept crashing on me due to lack of memory. Happily, my Mother has
offered to buy me a new Dell Dimension with a bit of the money she
got from her inheritance compliments of my Grand father because she
was very pleased with the work I did on my web site. She wants me to
continue working on it. Needless to say, I am a very thankful man
and consider this a great gift from my Grand father Jack.

So, I'll be pleased to help you chip away at the project and edit/
organize the past messages when my new machine gets here. I'm also
getting high speed internet ! Yahoo... finally !

Chris
