An article written for fun went to Judy Nunn for
the spring '05 TALL TALK, no specific mention of SAGE as such--just written for
fun and talking about variability in ALL irises, not just SA's....
AND
an article "Getting Serious about Space Age
Genetics" is off to Bruce Filardi for the January AIS *Bulletin* describing the
rationale, issues and basic plan for the SAGE project.
Both articles have photos attached, thanks to Robin
Shadlow, Superstition Gardens and Mike Lowe. Michael M. collected most of
the photos offered for use and sent them in on a CD.
Deep sigh of relief. This *Bulletin* article
has been the most unruly thing I have ever written. Lots and lots of side
issues kept creeping in--material for follow-up articles, but had no place in
this one.
