water connection near or actually part of the bench.  That would be 
great.  Shade is important, so "placement".

  Mine is an old picnic table with an old wooden box sitting on end on top 
to hold tools, seed packs.  Jars are holding pencils, knifes etc. so 
something tall on your bench to hold such things might be a good idea.
