Re: Corn Production

Nesa,

You sound as if you're expecting the cobs to form on the top of the plant.
Corn is very different to paddy. The cobs form on a separate female flower
that grows off the side of the plant, where the leaves are. See if you can
see them forming. I've heard some baby corn varieties produce up to 40 cobs
per plant but I've never seen that.

Subject: Corn Production

All 3 of my corn are tassling- look like Padi now! I'm wondering, how many
fruit can I expect from each plant tops?1 or 2?Also does corn have a
preference for certain temps? They're doing fine here - in the 80s and lower
90s.Thanks.
