Hi Nesa, Congratulations on your corn. I just planted corn in Southern CA. It's been cool nights in the low 50's so I probably could have waited another couple of weeks. I've never planted corn before so I did a lot of reading before I started but couldn't find info on varieties for my climate. I chose all sweet corn: Breeders choice, Golden Jubilee and Early Sunglow. They all have different days to maturity so hopefully they'll ripen over a length of time. I also tried a modified 3 sisters planting idea: corn with beans and every few hills a melon, squash or pumpkin . Hopefully we'll have something to show for all the space this corn is using up on my tiny suburban lot. good growing to you, mum
