I don't think crossing will bother the sugar enhanced variety. I can't find
Golden Jubilee in any of my catalogs, but if you're interested in growing
corn, I'd strongly suggest you buy a book by Suzanne Ashworth called "Seed
to Seed." She has great information on preventing cross pollination, and
covers planting and growing many, many types of vegetable garden plants
with an end view of saving seeds. It's about $20 and worth its weight in
gold, IMO. By the way, in trying to look this up I noticed one instruction
about growing baby corn is to harvest it when the silks first appear to
encourage formation of other ears. Margaret L
