Hi Cheryl.
I usually don't say much ... more of a sit back and read. I've finally
learned that it doesn't pay to try to get my veggies out real quick; I end
up feeding the new spring hatching of bugs. I do have some plugs of salad
greens waiting. Meanwhile I just keep shuffling my seed packets.
I'm in Sunset zone 17 (marine effects -- Northern California, US)/ USDA zone
9. My experiment this year is to try to container grow amarath for grain
(Manna de Montana and Hopi Red Dye). Last year's experiment was Inca
Rainbow corn. Unfortunately, most of these 'experiments' have take place on
the south side of our home due to cool climate/wind. Tragically, this is
open to the neighborhood's dogs/cats/kids and I get mixed results due to
'injuries/deaths' (the plants that is).
But that's what's doing here.
