Hi All,
I have a question for anyone who has tried Pole Lima Beans.
This is rather difficult to describe but I'll try!
Last year I planted Burpee Ford Hook, I did not inoculate the seed,
germination was low, when the cotyledons opened they were not green rather
pale yellow, deformed, brownish color in some sections and looked diseased.
They would get a few inches high, then they would die. The few that made it
produced deformed looking leaves, very wrinkled and shriveled looking.
I planted on three separate occasions over the course of April, May and
June. This happened each and every time.
I took the sprouts to 3 different Nursery's to show them the cotyledons and
leafs, nobody said they had seen anything like it nor new what the problem
was.
Finally I gave up, any ideas, I would like to try again this year!
Thanks!
Chris
