There are sources for specific parasites just for this dreaded eating
machine.

Also if you spray(hose) the plants with (from overhead)cold water and
then stop and listen you can literally hear them "chatter" in discomfort
and you will find them reared back ,still clinging to the vine,where
upon you pluck him off and destroy in a bucket of salty water or ?your
choice.
