You are right about warmth! I put them ON TOP of the fridge to take
advantage of the heat it gives off. I don't have a seed starting mat, so I
have to improvise.

I have also started tomato seeds, but I always thought that they needed
warmth to germinate. similar to peppers and eggplants. Why did you put them
in the refridge? Do the seeds germinate better?
