Re: Tomato's


Missed the earlier one from Duncan...Duncan I just leave mine, our frost is
scheduled to hit us around Sept 16th and by then most of mine will be ripe
and what is left I will just bring in to ripen on the vines down in the
basement.  I have cut off a good many leaves now and this has helped speed
up ripening (although someone will say I am wrong :)...we are in zone 3a.
Some years I have covered up if frost is earlier and I just use
blankets..but then I don't have that many tomatoe plants to worry
about...took off a nice 12 1/2 once one today :D
