Re: my first

Dear Phillipa
I used to live in zone 2 in Ontario. We had a growing season between
May; when we planted seeds, and October-beginning of November when we
harvested the last of the root vegetables. We had anything common to
most of North America and some kinds of squash and cucumbers indigenious
to the area. Okra is a green vegetable that comes in like a minature
pepper but has a taste all its own. Grits are dried corn bits and fried
to go with breakfast, a lot of people in Oklahoma don't like them but I
do. If I stand correcting by all means you people in other southern
states jump in please.
