Re: zucchini won't produce

   If you have only one plant, and there are no others in the neighborhood,
you need a pollenizer (a "daddy" plant to provide pollen). Squash pollen is
not self fertile, in other words, you cannot use pollen from the same plant.
You obviously have female flowers by now on your plants, but they are not
getting enough viable pollen.

   If you do have pollenizers, the next most likely reason is lack of
pollinators. I have heard that bees are in very short supply in Japan, due to
pesticide misuse.

   You probably need to hand pollinate, but you must find another plant to
give you the male flowers.
