  Hi Monica, Thanks for your concern. Nothing is happening yet. We had a
strange and beautiful sunset, very tropical air. Local radar is now picking
out the eye over the Atlantic and it seems to steadily be bearing toward
Myrtle Beach. It is expected to turn more northward, but it hasn't yet. The
center of the storm is supposed to come ashore sometime tomorrow morning,
supposedly in North Carolina, but if it doesn't turn soon, it will be in South
Carolina.

   I moved all vehicles out from under trees, and we stocked up on some
supplies, since power may go out, but we haven't boarded up, because they were
predicting only winds to 70 mph here. Maybe we should have........

   Hurricanes are a fact of life in the southeast, but that doesn't mean we
like them. My stomach is in quite a knot. Will let you know what it's like, if
lines are open.
