Hi, one of my neighbors grew alot of okra last year - Clemson - and it
looked quite vigorous, although there were only a few pods per plant (I
don't know how many a plant SHOULD bear). This is in Zone 5/6; however, it
gets very hot during summer here, often over 100F.
Burpee features a new variety this year - 'Baby Bubba' - which is half the
plant size with ordinary pod size. I am going to try this and will report
back, if anyone is interested.
