Hi,
I grow corn in the square foot pattern. 10 inches apart in a block 4
feet wide by 12 feet long. I really fertilizre this bed heavily. I grow
a crop of broad casted shelling peas prior to the corn. when the peas
come out the corn Goes in after I dig under the peas and add compost and
horse aged horse manure. My corn bed supplies several nice ears and
several bags of frozen corn (c: This year I'm expanding my production
to 3 beds of peas followed by corn. It works out well here in CT zone
